Unending Consequences ...

David Whyte speaks of the “unending consequences” of being human beings who love, and are motivated by belonging. For, as he rightly says, to love and belong is to risk loss. And that is why it requires courage to be fully human, to face the risk that life is, to look that risk in the eye and say “I will not hide my heart in order to avoid you.”
