For what you See and Hear ...


I’ve been thinking a good deal about the journey to renaming the Component of (now) Difference. It struck me that C.S. Lewis had captured some of it here. We are all standing, steeped in assumptions, some possibly suckled from our mother’s milk, that have us see and hear through myriad filters. Not seeing and hearing people for who they actually are, free from labels, possibly because we cannot see and hear free from our own. I love, then, the exploration of ten component ways of being informing the person I choose to be, with a profound and ever-evolving relationship to difference being one of the threads.
