Creating a learning environment, in the classroom - which in my case is always a lounge - or in life, can feel like a serious thing.
Learning, by definition, means we are outside the comfort zone of what we already know and feel practiced in. The need to look good, be clever and get it right, rushes to the front, and steals away our creativity and our intelligence!
In life, as in the classroom, I am finding that playfulness is what produces the moments of discovery, insight and joy.
