I love this idea of equating “being who you really are” with being grown up.
I also like Carl Jung’s idea that it may be less about becoming and more about un-becoming who you are not. The courage to shrug off the untrue limiting assumptions taken on during the course of a lifetime and replace them with true, liberating assumptions is always an act of response-ability…….and is an inspiring practice of the expression of Self.
