Suffering ...

Recently, although I know the truth of this quote from Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, I have been self-critical, and have lacked self-compassion in the midst of some personal struggle. Emerging from this, and turning gentleness and deep loving concern inwards, is, I believe, all part of the ongoing work that is involved in being fully human.
