Courage is fear that has said it's prayers ...

This made me wonder about “prayers”. What is my equivalent? How might I incorporate the practice of whatever I could think of as prayers into my life, to give me courage, in the face of all the unknowns that can – if left untended by fortitude – provoke fear.
